MOU for Educating Students in Digital Twin and Smart Hospital Technologies.

The agreement was attended by Wookyung Kim, Director of Gachon University Gil Medical Center, Wonjae Yoo, Professor at Gachon University’s College of IT, and Jinhyun Kim, CEO of E8ight. The participating institutions agreed to utilize E8ight’s technology to provide smart hospital solutions incorporating clinical decision support systems and digital twins, aiming to streamline and enhance the efficiency of medical workflows. Gachon University Gil Medical Center will collaborate with E8ight in various areas, including hospital asset management and cloud-based EMR integration systems. Additionally, Gachon University will work with E8ight on joint research projects involving digital twins and foster talent to lead the future digital era.

협약에는 김우경 가천대 길병원장, 유원재 가천대학교 IT대학 교수, 김진현 이에이트 대표가 참여해 이에이트의 기술을 활용하여 임상진단보조시스템과 디지털 트윈이 적용된 스마트 병원 솔루션을 제공하고, 의료진의 워크플로우를 간소화하고 효율화하는 데 협력하기로 했다. 가천대 길병원은 이에이트와 병원의 자산 운영 및 관리 시스템, 클라우드 기반 EMR 통합 시스템 등 다양한 분야에서 협업하기로 했으며, 가천대학교의 스마트시티학과는 디지털 트윈 공동 연구 과제 수행 등 미래 디지털 시대를 이끌 인재 양성에 협력하기로 했다.
